I test drove accord 2.4 the pick up is a bit slow but gradually and smooth as you press fuel paddle but if you put it in the sport mode it is a different. The only difference between the two is acceleration and economy but don't be fooled into thinking. 3.5 is the real accord.

The 2.0 engine is adequate for everyday driving imo plus factor in the reduced insurance and slightly better economy it would make sense. With added tech and equipment and a fresh new look, now there’s more reason for you to purchase the honda accord.
